There is a famous poem about the New Year of a Brazilian poet, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, that says there is a miracle of renewal at the end of the year. When everything starts again, with another number and another desire to believe that from now on, it will be different.
That’s a feeling we believe everyone carries during this time of the year. As if we kind of forget things that weren’t nice, can be done or happen differently, just by turning from December 31st to January 1st, like magic.
Too optimistic? Maybe unrealistic? Yep, maybe. But for sure, this tiny moment of hope makes us try again, make it different and believe we are evolving every single year.
